International audience. Entrepreneurship research has not increased the clarity of the work on opportunities. During an entrepreneurial experience, does the student discover or build the opportunities? We identified the sources of opportunity described in the entrepreneurship literature and drew up a grid submitted to the students. We found that they were co-building their opportunities with the principles of effectuation. . Les recherches en entrepreneuriat n’ont pas renforcé la clarté des travaux sur les opportunités. Lors d’une expérience entrepreneuriale, l’étudiant découvre-t-il ou construit-il les opportunités ? Nous avons recensé les sources d’opportunités décrites dans la littérature en entrepreneuriat et établi une grille soumise aux étudiants. Nous avons constaté qu’ils co-construisaient leur opportunité dans une démarche effectuale.
