Filtre ultra compact à lignes à ondes lentes 3D en technologie BiCMOS à 29 GHz

National audience. Cet article présente une architecture de filtre passif en technologie BiCMOS 55 nm STMicroelectronics en début de bande millimétrique (29GHz). La conception du filtre est basée sur des structures résonnantes 3D à ondes lentes tirant profit des multiples niveaux métalliques du Back-End-of-Line de la technologie. L’utilisation du principe d’ondes lentes associé à la 3D permet une miniaturisation très importante, permettant in fine d’envisager l’intégration de ces filtres pour des fréquences relativement basses, typiques de la 5G (28 GHz). Les résultats de simulation laissent entrevoir des performances à l’état de l’art, avec un très bon compromis performances/dimensions
